This introductory session will review definitions of palliative and hospice care, review literature on the most common concerns facing adults at the end of life, and offer evidence-based strategies that psychologists can implement in this population. This workshop will discuss how culture influences end-of-life conceptualization and preparation and review strategies for psychologists to implement as they cope with their own grief following the death of a client.
